Defense rarely put points on the board, thats what the QB's does so aint trying to hear that shyt

Defense doesn't win championships a good defense may luck up and win a bowl putting the team on their back, but shytty QB situations ruin dynasty potential teams like the Ravens. When was the last team to win a bowl without an elite QB
funny trent dilfer has the same number of superbowls with dominant defense as peyton manning has with shytty defenses.

but ravens ruined their situations but colts...didnt ? :russ:

if it wasnt for dungy building that cover 2 defense with speed, peyton prolly would still be ringless.

I thought we were talking about superbowls. also I wouldnt call our d last year great. it was very good, not great.

thats bullshyt.

02 bucs-historical defense, #1 in pts and yards
03 pats=#1 ranked defense in pts allowed
04 pats=#2 ranked defense in pts allowed
05 steelers=top 3 in pts, top 4 in yards
06 colts=mediocre but very good d against grossman despite peyton having a bad game. held bears to 17 and held chiefs and ravens to under 10
07 giants=shut down one of the best offenses ever, allowing only
FOURTEEN points. allowed average of 17 pts ppg in offs
08 steelers=#1 d in pts and yards allowed
09 saints=mediocre but ranked #2 in TOs
10 packers= #2 ranked d in pts allowed, top 5 in yards,
11 giants=hold packers, falcons, 49rs, pats all to 20 pts and under. actually really 17 and under, a td in the packer game came in garbage time

the only mediocre D in the playoffs over the last 10 years have been saints (which won with opportunistic but mediocre d) and colts (but they shut down chiefs and ravens and were good in the superbowl)

everywhere else the defense dominated either in regular season, playoffs or both.

trust me, you won't outargue me on this one. I have evidence and facts to back up my point.

How is dominating in 4 games make you a great D? Sounds to me like a coach with a great game plan.

4 games is a quarter of season so its not as small sample size as you think.

no one cares about talent level, in nfl its all about performance. and if your D can hold an offense that averaged 37 pts in the reg season in pats to 14 pts...youre a fukking great defense.

Quite a few examples in the playoffs

1.The 9ers destroyed the number one ranked broncos defense 55-10 in the SB
2.The 08' and 10' Number one ranked steelers defenses got torched in both SB's(if it weren't for some drops by Packers recievers it would've been worse)
3. 2004 pats lit up the 2004 Number one ranked steelers defense in the AFC title game
4. Number 2 ranked 06' pats got torched by the colts in the AFC title game
5. Number 2 ranked 11' 49ers got Torched by drew Brees and the saints in the playoffs.

That's just off my head

LastEmperor talks about reactionary threads, when he made the Russell Wilson after his first bad game. :rudy:

i say keep Keap starting

Won't happen and as much as I want him to start, he shouldn't. As limited as Alex is, he's a better option right now. I want him cut in the offseason, though.

Damn..... Thought this great Kaep guy was gonna come in and crush buildings. I'm not impressed, just from what I "hear", he's so much better than Alex. Thought this was about to blowout! :rudy:

If you think about it Kaep outscored the Rams....your boy didn't. You :to:?

Love how you and the other clown put such unfair expectations on a guy who has yet to even start a game.

When Kaep starts yall can go cheer whichever team Alex is holding a clipboard for.
