I really hope he becomes a coach or something. If he stuck it out until his next contract then retired at 28 or 29 or something after getting millions, he'd be in such better shape moving forward.
I guess I respect the decision but I can't shake the part of me that thinks it was a punk move
punk move?
dog, let me just tell you that i have had multiple severe brain injuries and im starting to see the effects come into fruition. believe me when i tell you there is nothing scarier than not being the person who youve always been, when just a year ago it was all good. thoughts like hurting yourself(which i never thought of before, shyt is cowardly to me.), forgetting shyt like pin #'s, social security #'s, not wanting to be in social settings anymore, the anxiety, etc. i literally just came from the neurologist and the symptoms i have are a result of all that damage i endured. the shyt makes me upset even thinking about it because theres no absolutely nothing that can be done to treat it. and i just turned 25 years old.
its very easy to call this a punk move when you yourself are not dealing with the issue personally. shyt hall of famer harry carson just said on the michael kay show he would of never played if he had the education then, that they do now. im happy for this dude, and pray he didnt do enough damage before its too late.
