No, I didn't say that because he bailed on his team or whatever. I said that because he is living in his fears. He could set himself and his family up for life by playing into a second contract. Is there risk? Sure. But life is full of risks. Maybe he is more at risk than other players or something medically, but if not, then I just don't agree with his decision. I mean, I respect that it is his own decision, but.. eh
is going on out in SF?
this is crazy
wtf is going on in SF

punk move?
dog, let me just tell you that i have had multiple severe brain injuries and im starting to see the effects come into fruition. believe me when i tell you there is nothing scarier than not being the person who youve always been, when just a year ago it was all good. thoughts like hurting yourself(which i never thought of before, shyt is cowardly to me.), forgetting shyt like pin #'s, social security #'s, not wanting to be in social settings anymore, the anxiety, etc. i literally just came from the neurologist and the symptoms i have are a result of all that damage i endured. the shyt makes me upset even thinking about it because theres no absolutely nothing that can be done to treat it. and i just turned 25 years old.
its very easy to call this a punk move when you yourself are not dealing with the issue personally. shyt hall of famer harry carson just said on the michael kay show he would of never played if he had the education then, that they do now. im happy for this dude, and pray he didnt do enough damage before its too late.
Nope and it's inevitableWill Football be the same sport as we know it in 20 years?
Dude I don't purport to always give the popular opinion. You said "where he is a depressed, suicidal, demented" etc. as if it's a foregone conclusion. My only argument is that, just because those cases are publicized and more visible than they've ever been doesn't mean it's the norm or that it's guaranteed. It doesn't mean if you play a few years of football you're bound for insanity. How many guys have come and gone through the league, gone before they ever turn 30? Maybe I'm just being a dikk but all I'm saying is that I'd need to see more evidence, more cases, etc. to think that hanging on a few more years into the next contract isn't worth it to set my family up for life. I've been alive for far too long to fall for the media's fear tactics. I'm not saying there isn't ANY merit to it, but if you're trying to tell me that playing a few years in the NFL is going to cripple you no matter what, I'm going to call bs.He could have set him and his family up for a life where he was a depressed, suicidal, demented, F'd up in the head man before his kids had finished elementary school. How many NFL contracts do you think his wife and kids would have traded away for that?
More rules will eventually be added
I bet they put limits on the amount of times a running back can touch the ball during a game and season
Probably 25 touches max for a game
350 touches for a season
The most popular sport in the us is barely watchable?man fukk that shyt. they need to just stop playin football if they're gonna pussify it. we all know its fukkin crazy to play football. just educate the people and those that wanna take the risk will do it. no need to make it into flag football. no one will watch that shyt. its already barely watchable now.
