Spence might have the size advantage but strength could go either way. And bud has more one punch power. Let’s not forget bud was the first guy to actually knock porter out. And porter himself said Crawford was the biggest puncher he’s fought. Said he was effected by every big punch bud landed. And you could see that in the fight. Any time bud landed clean porter would get jolted.

So I think all the talk about Spence just walking through bud is far fetched. Spence has never been hit with a punch like bud’s. And it’s not as if we haven’t seen Spence get rocked multiple times. Even in this fight when ugas knocked out his mouthpiece. That wasn’t just a mistake. Spence lost his bearings for a brief moment. That sometimes happens to him when he gets rocked with a big shot . He seems to get confused for a second. He recovers nicely but if Crawford stuns him like that he’s gonna be in some serious shyt. Cause once bud smells blood he goes for the kill.

You say the kryptonite for a boxer-puncher is a great pressure fighter. But that goes both ways. Many good pressure fighters have taken L’s to slick boxers. But in this case bud is not only the slicker fighter but also the stronger fighter. He’s not gonna be running away from Spence. He’s gonna be right there in the pocket capitalizing on his mistakes. Ugas landed several big right hands on him early in this fight. If bud is able to land like that Spence is gonna get hurt. Neither of them have a “great” defense I would say. But Bud has better upper body movement. He’s better at ducking and countering at awkward angles. In both stances. Spence is a savage but I think overall that Crawford is more dynamic. He has faster hands. Faster feet. And the bigger punch. It’s possible that Spence could break him down if he’s able to withstand his punch. But I don’t see that happening. It’s still a 50-50 fight in the grand scheme of things. Bud can be hit. And he can be stunned too. So neither outcome would surprise me. But just going off everything I’ve seen from both fighters I see Crawford taking Spence out late with razor cheap counters.
First of all..Porter is full of shyt. Lol. So that being your measuring stick is a waste of time. His analysis is hilariously suspect. He had Ugas up 4 rounds last night or something, right? Stupid.

He didn't have enough gas in the tank and couldn't see an opening.

Boxing isn't a video game that awards you with certain perks when hurting an opponent.

You still take damage, you still have to worry about emptying your clip. Just look at Joshua v Ruiz.

Ok

Hopefully the business behind the scenes gets done, because it's obvious both fighters want this fight. Painfully obvious.
And I'm optimistic it will happen

And when it does, I have to come clean, the more skilled fighter is gonna win. They usually do in mega bouts. And Bud is the more skilled fighter without a doubt.

It's gonna be a tall task to see how Spence would be able to work his way on the inside, because Crawford's foot movement, lateral quickness, and counter punching all combined into one fighter is something Spence hasn't seen. The closest to that, was Porter, and Crawford is a clean level above that.
He won't just default to standing in the middle of the ring with a high guard as Ugas did last night, and as alot of Spences competition has. That is literally the single biggest recipe for disaster against a fighter like Spence. Who has the most elite inside game in 147 for sure, and possibly the sport as a whole.
Bud is usually slow out the gate, so how effective Spence is at working the body in the early rounds will be a major factor in dictating how the rest of the fight goes.

Of course, any thing can happen in there, and Bud can get caught up in a machismo battle with Spence, but styles make fights. I just don't think this is a good style for Spence. I would have Crawford UD
No. Crawford isn't more skilled. He just looks great against mediocre guys. He eats alot of punches...no one has the power and variety to make him pay for that. He's not gonna sidestep and knock down Spence like Porter...lol. He's gonna eat body punches and damn near run away trying to catch Spence off balance like he did the dimwitted Amir Khan.

Errol Spence has beat up on a master like Floyd Mayweather and I don't rate Crawford anywhere on that level. I mean when has Crawford ever dealt with anyone changing their punches in so many ways on the inside with a jab that dictates how he gets inside...he has never took on anyone with that quality.

After the Peterson fight I learned that u cannot just let spence just land on u at will, Peterson face swoll really bad after that fight.

spence is just too big and strong for the guys at 147… how much is his walk around wieght.

180 and he even admitted to blowing up to 190 in the past.

This fight went the way I thought. It was a no brainer.

Ugas is way too slow to challenge Spence. That slow pace fighting was only going to allow Spence to load up extra on his shots.

I knew Spence wasn't going to drop him, so I wasn't expecting a stoppage. Good performance.

I still got Bud winning easily though. This fight even more firmly sealed my decision.

I think y’all are right I think Bud will hurt EJ in the fight then he will try and ju,p on EJ and get hurt. Then he will try and box from the outside after. I just want to ask everybody who is the biggest puncher Bud has fought? I’ll wait. Is it Gamboa. Postol who he would not stand in the pocket with. Jeff Horn. Washed Kell Brook who looked good until he got hit hard.
