This fight went the way I thought. It was a no brainer.

Ugas is way too slow to challenge Spence. That slow pace fighting was only going to allow Spence to load up extra on his shots.

I knew Spence wasn't going to drop him, so I wasn't expecting a stoppage. Good performance.

I still got Bud winning easily though. This fight even more firmly sealed my decision.

Spence is going to hurt Bud

Statistically EJ is the most accurate puncher at 147, so that's moot.

I needed to know if Errol could get back the stamina he had pre Mikey Garcia fight, and it looks like he did.

Spence is an awful matchup for Terrence Crawford and I don't think anyone is really talking about that. EJ fights on the inside and mid range with an impeccable workrate that makes it so his opponents are never given an opportunity to think, and when a fighter tries to create distance to work from the outside he's constantly coming forward. He's a stylistic nightmare for any pure boxer, in just about any era. Typically when you see a pure boxer/counter puncher, their kyrptonite is always a guy who comes forward at a constant workrate. Now throw EJ in there with his tools, plus size and strength advantage, who is a complete boxer himself (but doesn't like to show that style often) and you have the perfect recipe for defeating someone like a Terrence Crawford. On top of the fact Terrence seems to be slowing down a little bit. I don't think the fight with Crawford goes the distance.

I've been saying this for a while as to why I think is the biggest reason Crawford gets stopped. Styles make fights. I don't see how you have watched their last few fights and can't see how bad of a stylistic matchup Spence is for Crawford. The Porter fight showed you Crawford has no inside game and doesn't deal well with it at all. I said numerous times in that fight if Porter had any type of power Crawford would of touched the canvas several times. Some of those punches Spence hit Ugas with were loud as and sounded like he was hitting the bag, that man got heavy ass fukking hands bro. I get Crawford is a good fighter and P4P and all that, but unless he can just pop Spence with a bunch of shyt that hurts him, which he won't because Spence has good defense, he is gonna get punished bro. There is a reason I say Spence stops him and have held that opinion forever. Maybe not inside of 6, but by Rd 10 Bomac gonna be throwing the towel to save that man.

The problem with Crawford is that his work isn't clean. When Mayeather outboxed an opponent, it was done in a way that was easy to judge.

Reason why I'm perplexed with this Crawford love in about his skills, Porter was in the fight until he stopped him whereas if it was Floyd it would've been a shut out.
