Spence looked a little tired in the Danny fight but usually, he look like he can go 15 rounds. So he's definitely in better shape in this fught...he's gets over criticized by these Crawford and these little Mexican fans..but they got a realization to deal with very soon. Crawford might be next but that might squeeze in Crawford/Thurman...who knows.

As for taking shots? Spence has shown a better chin than all.the welterweights.

This Ugas fight really tells us where he's at regarding Crawford fight.

FWIW i think Crawford going to jump up to 154 and the Spence fight remains a mirage.

Although Spence can't be far off going to 154 too tbh.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
Also can Crawford take Spence best shot

So, in talking about this — my position is going to be a bit counter-intuitive. I think Spence’s chin is better than Crawford’s, but Spence has to be more concerned about one shot power opposed to Crawford. One because Crawford lands a lot of punches other fighters are not expecting (more so than Spence in comparison), and secondly Spence does not put 100% behind his punches. Whereas, I think Crawford does more times than not. Obviously, I’m not in the ring with these guys, but I remember watching this interview with VanHeerden and he said Spence hits you at about 80% of his power, but that it’s a consistent 80% and it zaps you as the rounds progress. Given how Spence seemingly normally appears to have boundless energy, I believe Van Heerden. He doesn’t tire as much as other fighters because he’s not putting everything into every shot or even most shots.

VanHeerden talks about Spence starting about 3:00 minutes in.

Crawford punches off the step more than Spence, more angles etc. Crawford got a lot more variation of punches,

Spence sticks to his script (predominantly straight down the pipe and pivot turns then punch/hook etc.) Seems to uppercut to body but not so much to the head as much. He has his system, he rarely deviates.

Hard to say re Spence v Crawford. Spence is my guy but Crawford looked exceptional against Porter imo. That check lead hook again and again.:ohlawd:

The Spence that fought Mikey Garcia...I don't think Crawford has come across anything like that. Crawford wouldn't be able to set anything up..would be on the run but Spence wouldn't fall for the traps that Postal did.

He does more than that..just doesn't have to show that every fight. Crawford's counter punching would not work on the same level as Brook and Khan. When has Crawford ever came across a aggressive consistent jab like that? Never.

Porter stays disciplined he wins that fight by MD at least.

I can see that point of view, certainly rounds 1-6.

Conditioning is a motherfukker though and Crawford got more gears than Porter, that and technique (could even say Porter fell away due to inability to stay disciplined with technique) made the difference imo. Old Porter came back though, you're right.
