The angle at this point can be simple.
Taker can come out before WM and tell Vince he isn't here to do his dirty work, Vince lets Taker know that he doesn't care how valued or endeared Taker is, he's still an employee of Vince. Vince then tells him are you gonna miss out on WM in your home state because you don't want to hurt Shane's feelings or are you gonna fight? Taker then can stay face by having shown he's not thrilled with doing Vince's dirty work but business is business and he not gonna let no one get a free pass on him at WM.
Or they have no Shane and Taker appearances for the next 40 days and just let Vince do promos hyping it up.

Why not Rusev? He sounds like a perfect candidate to represent Vince. Rusev/Shane sounds more logical since we all know Rusev will work for Vince than Taker

That Shane moment was still GOAT a day later but I really hope this Shane/Taker is smoke and mirrors for Cena/Taker and Cena comes out next week when Taker comes back next week. This Shane and Taker idea sound really dumb a day later. Like is Taker a heel?
