When I was young nicca used to call me tall and lanky! :mjlol:

I was like 6’5 215-222

I’m good on ever being that small again
Man, if i could get to 215, ppl wouldnt be able to tell me shyt:pachaha:

Y’all should’ve added city. I believe all of the tall Black American men (6ft+) do not live in the Midwest (Chicago) bc I rarely see them. Usually when a Black man is tall, he’s from or lives in the south. Why?

I'm born and raised in Chicago. I don't think height is regional. But as Black people most of our families did migrate from the South. Maybe there is some correlation down the line.

I’m thinking diet and lifestyle might have played a part. Also people who left the south have a slightly different mixture of genes (from those enslaved in different states, moved north/west and procreated with others from different states) vs those who stayed down south have ancestry from usually one or two states, if that makes sense. Ex. I have creole and gullah ancestors vs someone from North Carolina whose whole bloodline gullah so they’re taller with 3 types of African ancestry barely any white vs others 12 types of African ancestry with like 25% white. So I wonder if that has something to do with it.
