Watching Eli right now. This shyt is creepy as hell! I'm shook! :hamster:

EDIT:

Holy hell! What kind of demonic shyt was that? I had no idea that was coming. Talk about a twist.

So questions:

1. what was wrong with his skin? they were injecting him with something to make him react like that?
2. Did the father know everything the whole time?
3. He couldn't have because why were they arguing?

4. Where the hell are they driving????

Eli:

I think the father knew because I think the point was to save his soul because they couldn’t get the evil out. The other kids probably couldn’t take it. I think the other parents were the ones who regretted the devil fertility help, and the girl outside was one of the kids who had parents that were fine with it, or she was sent to keep an eye on her siblings. She was able able to light the twig on fire, so I think when the kids unleash their devil energy outward, they become dangerous, which is why the parents kept him inside all the time. That’s the best interpretation I could come up with because I was SUPER shocked and confused when they did the reveal.

Watched Blair Witch, and the girl was annoying as fukk.

Tried Blair Witch 2, and it was TRASH, so I turned it off after 30 minutes

Watched Last House On The Left remake

I watched I Know What You Did Last Summer, last night, and I miss the Kevin Williamson horror era, granted, that is probably my favorite genre of horror (the talky teen slasher) but the writing (in the early scenes) is so crisp, and fluid. The actual movie badly flawed, I can't remember watching, but I know I saw it around 1998 or 1999, after I read the YA book, which is much better,

The acting from Phillipe goes so far over the top, as the brash rich jerk, he is practically snarling and foaming at the mouth. Hewitt, is fantastic, to the degree the script lets her be. Gellar and Prinze turn in solid performances. The real issue is the convoluted plot, the lack of a real mystery, and the hilarious, over the top, impractical ways the killer torments then. There's a scene where he leaves about 30 pounds of crabs in a trunk of a car, along with a decaying body, and the kids return within 15 minutes, and it's vanished. These are actually the fun parts though, of a bad slasher.

Again, the scene where Phillipe trys to outrun a BMW by sprinting, instead of merely running sideways. The whole thing was a rush to cash in on Scream, and it worked, but there was a much better movie underneath the undercooked script, and the over the top Phillipe performance.
