I like the tone and atmosphere to his movies - real gritty, graphic and grimey, throwback 70s type of vibe . Dark as hell . Like you’re actually witnessing what went down but can’t look away. (I know, I got issues to be so immersed in this type of stuff blame in on a repressed all girls catholic school education ) shyt is just fun to me
