What happened to yours?

what didnt happen? I mean.. turbo engine kept getting oil leaks.

air suspension would constantly go out. Anybody familiar with air suspension knows that once the air suspension bags leak, the car will drop low.

if your cv joints wen bad, you had to buy an whole axle because BMW didnt make just the part. had front and back axles done.

The engine was on re-call for oil consumption, but BMW answer to the lawsuit was 300.00 or an oil change. NO BULLSHYT

car constanty had drivetrain issues. Air condition went out, well the labor cost me over 2500 .

its just too many things to name..

The biggest thing was I had total engine breakdown, but my warranty paid all but 2000.00 The total bill was 15 thousand. . If I didnt have a warranty, I would have just assed out.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
the fact the german brands have "specialty shops" that STAY full of cars being worked on :mjlol:
they try to spin it like it's because the cars require special tools and all that and i'm sure that's true but naw nikka you can run that business mainly cause the cars stay breaking down and it's too expensive to ever consider going to the dealer
you never going see a "honda specialty shop" with the parking lot full of broke down accords and civics
i was considering the 335 yrs ago but said fukk that when my coworker kept needing rides to the "bmw specialty shop" to pick his car up multiple times a month :picard:

I took my Audi to one of them because the transmission was slipping. Almost 2 weeks had gone by and I walked in and surprised them one day to see how they were doing... The engine was out and parts were all over the place :snoop: they didn't know what the hell there were doing.

I’ve only see one person on IG be honest about this shyt. She’s always be showing off her BMW, and then a couple months later said she “lost” it and would never get another luxury car again lmao. Yes I’m sure you “lost” it...
:mjlol:

All for the gram, and to be stared at while driving. Who fukking cares. Can your car consistently get you from A to B? That’s all that should matter. And if you are too broke to get anything beyond an American or Asian car who fukking cares. You have a car. That’s good enough.

I drive a 2014 F30 (328i)

I copped CPO and most of my issues have been cosmetic or just silly shyt like the headlamps burning out (20 minute DIY) or the rats/squirrels chewing through a cable and fukking up my temperature sensing.

My biggest expense thus far was changing out the bushing on the front control arms (NYC streets....) and I bought the parts myself and had a mechanic do it for me because BMW was gonna charge me $1400 to do it.

Buy CPO...get a good warranty, and above all else, take care of your car, it's not a toy. I see people in brand new Bimmers or Benz's going over potholes in this city and I CRINGE like holy shyt breh you don't like your car????

Facts. I have a 2011 328i. Only main issue was one of the wiring in the trunk tore & had to go to a BMW dealership to get it replaced. The previous 2 owners kept the car in good shape (according to the carfax).

People have to also do research on their vehicles as well. Something as minimal as using the correct gasoline will help in the long run.

No car should ever be treated as an investment
Breh....I HATE when I see people use that phrase

You know how many cars in the world are actually good investments?

Not many and the ones that are, are luxury vehicles that maintain or increase in value ONLY if they're maintained and kept in show condition.

You don't drive those...you keep em in storage and take them out like once or twice a year to stunt....drive on backroads in New England or some shyt :mjlol:

My only regret for this car is that I MAAAAAYBE should have waited like a week or 2 and gotten a 2015 5 series but it would'nt have been fully loaded the way this one was and is

And that I park it on the street. You don't realize how little people give a fukk about other people's property until you park your beamer on the street in NYC breh

I wish I had a garage or a driveway I swear

Oh nah, I pay that extra fee to park in a roofed public garage. Not having to worry about parking or weather elements :wow:

I'm broke boy so I don't even look at European car, but I did want a VW Golf GTI
Are VW Golfs reliable?

I want a hatchback for my next car
This is what I was going for but my broke ass just settled for a civic. My mechanic does well with Japanese cars so meh.

German automobile engineering is world class. If you see a German car that’s broken down it’s because the owner didn’t take car of it. Chances are they would have ran down any car.

No, that is not true, it's a known fact the the engines in all the 00's 7 series all self destruct eventually, they either need head gaskets, or the timing chain retention piece breaks and the chain destroys the engine..
Buying a used 7 series that hasn't had these pieces replaced is poring jelly on yourself. These two preventative repairs at the dealership will run you a few stacks at least, and people don't want to spend the money, so they drive them until they cause even more expensive damage, and then they go to a junk yard.
