Lexus are largely considered to be bland design wise but they are definitely the most bang for your buck luxury cars out. My bro had a GS back in the late 90’s and drove it to 163k before it had a major problem: the heater coil went bad. Years later I worked for Toyota Financial Services and anyone who knows about them know they had the dope employee discounts: I had 2 GSs- a 2009 and a 2013 F-sport. Both new and I put 75k on both in 3 years time (150k miles over a 6.5 year period) and the most expensive repair I had was rotors and tires. I’ve since left the company and living in a downtown metro area lessened my current need for a car: I work from home & my current job is on the subway line if I need to go in, but when I cop again it’s def gonna be Lexus.
Just went from cls back to gs and although I miss the performance of the cls, I enjoy being able to sleep knowing that there’s a gs in my driveway and as far as value goes this 2016 has been awesome

To make the car more reliable. It will also make the car handle better because the engine sit further back in the engine bay.
This must be like an old E30, E36 3 series for you to attempt that? Is there a kit out there or something cause that’s a a lot of fab work and syncing of electronics/subsystems. I gotta see this...

Yea on an E30 they have the full swap kit, the swap is pretty much plug and play at this point. I actually do metal fabrication work for a living, so I could make mounts if I needed.

But unfortunately old white people drive them mostly
Thats a plus, it means they probably ain't been beat to shyt and probably had all the maintenance done.

Lexus is made by toyota bruh. Can't lose :wow:

Lexus is nice, but they're boring, they offer literally zero performance. If you drive the speed limit everywhere then sure.

My Mom has told me about the atrocious maintenance of her BMW. I don't want to touch those. My dad loved cars so I know a little bit.

I'm copping an Audi soon and they seem more reasonable with maintenance costs than BMW. I anticipate some expensive parts though.

I'm keeping my Acura until it stops working. It's an extremely forgiving vehicle when it comes to maintenance and has over 215k miles on it.

This thread reminded me, I saw one broken down at the grocery store, right where you going to enter/exit. People were pissed :dead:

My uncle a mech, dude says he loves BMWs but if he wasn't a mechanic he would never own one. Doing the rear brakes costs a rack, Honda 2 hundred :camby:
