This is someone you brought in with a show all about them. Toni's gimmick would cook fine in the midcard. The title programs need to switch. not saying Julia needs to be AEWW champion or anything but... either she squashes Julia even with Skye interference, or you let Julia rock in there for far too long and devalue your big money signing.
There is no reason that eventual match goes longer than 8 minutes. If it does, we know what time it is. But AEW always been bad at booking big signings to immediately matter on the scene. They always look good, get caught up in a program with someone, and by the end of it are less over than their first day in the company.
They gonna set Mariah May up to be closer to the world title picture in AEW than Mercedes Mone is and that's insane.

Def gonna have Mercedes as the main champ one day. Even if she gotta go thru TBS title first, that's OK. Who knows if she'll even do that or even just put Julia over at first to help her then work her way up to main title. Long as she gets opponents that she can have great matches with and build up her status in the division. She'll be over regardless. Only been one show. She got lot more to do. Hopefully that tag match vs Julia and Skye is a good one.
