Most people who think that being gay is something you choose are probably gay themselves
It was lite back then, but it's the same thing. They just couldn't get away with how blatant they are with it now. Had girls wanting to be men back in the 90s. They were dressing like it, but weren't saying it out loud.
I was around "back in the day". Ain't no 1 in 4 high school girls , when I was in high school, were wanting to be men.
It's not 1 in 4 now either.
I'm not saying 1 in 4, I'm saying this trend started earlier than people think. It's a slow process to make it more acceptable.

Humans are the only species who has a problem with how another human expresses love.
They're not actually being conditioned to be gay, they're being conditioned to think they are gay... and trans, etc. And because they're at a very impressionable age they're falling for it. Back in the day we had tomboys, now those same tomboys would be gaslit into believing they're actually trans.
That's not to say legit gay high schoolers don't exist but 25%?
Yeah, the irony is that today, there are more labels for shyt than there were back in the day.
Tomboys can't just be tomboys any more. They HAVE to be genderqueer, or fluid, or "questioning their sexuality." The sus ass breh that you swore was gay, but was actually out there chopping down hoes on the reg can't just have feminine tendencies because they were raised by a house full of women. It HAS to be one of those labels.
It's unfortunate, because as much as we've tried to open things up for kids in the name of acceptance and understanding, they're actually being browbeaten into a more rigid system of labels than before.

-Ethics are moral principles. Allowing trans women to compete against real women in athletic competition where they have clear advantage being men is unethical to me. It's not rocket science. It's also not bigotry to refer to someone as what they biologically are.
-This isn't all about religion or zealots. It can never be live & let live when trannies wanna force themselves on people that otherwise wouldn't care about them. They don't wanna just exist, they wanna be in a position that doesn't belong to them.
