From across the pond its reporting as if it could go either way, but looking through the last few pages here, it seems like it'll be a clean sweep for Harris? Is this just bias because there's only a couple of MAGA's on HL (eg. 88m3, Cac mamba etc) or is Harris really going to crush it :jbhmm:

Trump almost started a war with Iran, the only reason it didn’t happen is because of COVID.
Yes, I'm aware, which is why I literally said his anti-war projection is less credible now because he had a full term record of also engaging in militarism.

Before I debunk your Trump apologia do you agree with us arming Ukraine?
Trump apologia :mjlol:

To answer your question, not at this point in the war.

Trump is not anti war

Also by definition every President we’ve ever had is a “Warhawk” because that industry is highly lucrative

so that’s never gonna change as long as were alive regardless of who the president is but Dems are still fundamentally more anti war then republicans they’re just afraid to promote that
I disagree it is never going to change, I think that's a posture of learned helplessness that is facilitated by the anti-democratic political miseducation both parties benefit from. I don't think the record pertaining to the votes for promoting the Ukraine-Russia war, the votes for promoting Israeli militarism, the votes for the Iraq War, the votes for the War in Afghanistan, Democratic militarism as it relates to drone strikes, etc etc provide a convincing case that Democrats are "fundamentally more anti-war than Republicans". Also Trump spent much of the 2016 Republican Primary and General Election criticizing the Republican Neocon wars of intervention. More than his opponent did. Which is what I mean when I say they ceded the high ground.

They also aren’t known to some as the p*ssy party because of their stances on war it’s because of the LBGTQ movement I’d say why they get that heat from some
Disagree.

Its a close race with some signs of positivity for the dems.

Well, the thing is that no one really knows what will happen. The election is 50/50 in terms of odds.

However, I would say that Harris does have a slight advantage. There are good signs with early voting in most of the key swing states for Harris. Also, her campaign has a solid ground of organizers and canvassers to help turnout the vote. It all comes down to turnout. We'll see what happens on Tuesday.

So you think we should allow Russia to take over Ukraine by withdrawing support?

I would never say "clean sweep," but she is almost certainly in a better position than Trump from what we know and has more paths to 270 than he does.

I don't think it's up to the United States to unilaterally "allow" or "disallow" this kind of conduct by foreign countries. I believe a democratic body of the international community (aka the UN) should be the ones to hold Russia to account for their illegal invasion of Ukraine. But because the United States has effectively, structurally neutered the UN to the point where international democracy is not a practical reality at this point in time, I believe a diplomatic resolution to this conflict should be prioritized over the current policy of the Military Industrial Complex and the decrepit Cold Warriors currently running US foreign policy being allowed to dump endless arms into Ukraine to stoke the war in pursuit of their fever dream of regime change in Russia.
