No, they’re not. The dude literally was president during COVID and was woefully unprepared and got reelected. People don’t watch the news or care.
I don’t know about that. Spending time here has warped my perception of how people look at things in real life. When I talk to people in real life about these cabinet picks and second term, people dismiss me like I’m just being an alarmist. Alot of people in real life tend to minimize or dismiss the danger posed by Trump.
It’s like people completely forgot that one of his last acts was trying to overthrow the government. Maybe if the DOJ had treated Jan 6 as treason most normies wouldn’t normalize what Trump does.
Besides Biden and Blinken, I can’t name a person I hate more than Merrick in this administration.
So is the issue trans people or an ignorant and gulliable public that'll believe any absurd conspiracy? I feel like even if Dems abandoned championing trans rights some new absurd conspiracy will be used against them. Dems need to stop letting the right define them and desperately need to create their own media ecosystem that rivals what's on the right. We need our own propaganda machine that stirs people's emotions and primal fears. The electorate is a mob that can be swayed in almost any direction with the right propaganda.
Always be something the problem is misinformation, and disinformation.

Cenk is a useful tool for the right. He doesn't understand how governance works or appreciate why the spread of misinformation is equally if not more dangerous than censorship. With that said I think we've missed the train to regulate misinformation online. The left has to have an even more powerful propaganda machine if it is to survive going forward.
