Had nothing to do with correas back , slusser said it wasn’t his back & boras said they never negotiated 12 hours after canceling the pc they got cold feet

Giants statement:
"While we are prohibited from disclosing confidential medical information, as Scott Boras stated publicly, there was a difference of opinion over the results of Carlos’ physical examination. We wish Carlos the best."
Still not clear. Oh well, I'm sure someone will say they have the 'real story' eventually.

It sounds as if there was a very old Correa injury - pre MLB - that was raised as a potential issue. It has not cropped up again. None of Correa’s other physical issues have required medical intervention or ongoing treatment.
Seems like for whatever reason they either changed their mind and didn't want him for that contract or thought they could negotiate the deal to be slightly cheaper by bluffing they were not going to sign him. Whichever, big oops on their part.

Way I see it with Correa, they tried to offer one thing then actually test drive the car and pointed out a scratch in the paint for a discount. Boras said
