Stacy Abrams cool, but she def don’t need to be VP.

Biden should pick a male and be done with it n don’t let the progressives get in his ear.
This is facts. I hope the blue check warriors don’t get in Biden’s ear and force him to try and pick Stacey. It would be a disaster.

It is possible but it is hard to tell this far out. I have major concerns if Biden is the nominee. His support for NATA, and TPP is not going to play well in Ohio,Michigan and Wisconsin. Trump is going hammer him on that. Also older Black people like Biden but he is not a favorite of Black people 45 and under. He is despised by progressives, and young people. I see a turnout problem if he is the nominee. So he will need a VP that can help him get close to bring out the Obama Coalition. Another White male wouldn’t do that.
Whatever criticisms Biden will face for trade deals will be offset by what Trump has done to the farmers and suburbs. Honestly, I don't see that effecting Biden at all though.

You make a solid point in the last sentence, but I think turnout won't be an issue this year like 2016 cause people are tired of Trump and want him out. I just think with Biden's key support groups, sadly you have to think about racism and sexism.

I'm a biden fan but I an very anti china and anti TPP. That was my biggest concern with Biden.

But with him saying China had concentration camps on stage in the last debate. Hopefully thats a sign he'll be tough with China.

He should pick a guy from Ohio or Wisconsin and be done with it. There's no reason to pick a woman just because the internet says so. Steve Bullock would be fine.

That’s what I’m worried about the most though honestly :patrice:, you got major social media and mainstream influencers saying the democratic nominee cannot win the general if they don’t pick a woman (a woman of color specifically) to be on their ticket, and I’m afraid that noise is only going to get louder next year. They are already asking candidates to commit to picking a woman as a running mate if they win the nomination. Corey Booker already put himself in a hole by saying he would.

I hope your right, but rural white people have historically voted against their economic interests in favor of bigotry. This is anecdotal evidence, but I have seen interviews with these farmers saying that they will still vote for Trump. Trump also have been trying to subsidize a lot of these farmer. But, besides that I think it is a dangerous strategy to rely on voters showing up just because they are anti Trump. I think the candidate need to be able to excite the democratic base.

McCain and Mondale did and they lost lol. Biden needs to play it 100% safe if he wins.

Maybe you didn't actually read the post you quoted when you weren't looking.

I said she is the last ditch compromise of the establishment, especially if Obama is now supporting her. She's much more willing to bullshyt her way through the primary, waffle on her positions and then play ball with the oligarchs if she's elected.
Elizabeth Warren has done more to fight oligarchs than anyone else in this race, so I think it’s kinda ridiculous to think she’ll turn around and play ball with them once elected.

In 1984, no one was gonna beat Reagan breh and definitely not Mondale. Also, it was the '80s, there was a higher level of sexism then.

Also, Sarah Palin was a TERRIBLE choice for VP (or any governmental position) :mjlol:.

Yeah but,
Abrams and Pressley are much better politicians imo. I fukking hate that racist feminist bytch Geraldine Ferraro. And Sara Palin is one of the dumbest human beings on this earth. I can’t see Stacey Abrams or Ayanna Pressley performing anywhere near as bad as Farraro or Palin.

You're 100% right about that. Republican voters fall in line while Democratic voters need to be romanced, wined and dined on some lover's coral shyt in order to get them "to want" to vote for you. That's partly why Warren is doing so well.

A Biden/Bullock ticket would be horrendous :picard:.

That ticket would depress Democratic turnout by a big margin :picard:.

There definitely needs to be a woman on the ticket, it's time. Women are the backbone of the Democratic Party, especially Black women.

Yup,
there are areas you can criticize Liz in, but this is not one. She has went toe to toe with the biggest lobbying industry in Washington. Liz problem is not her history, or her policies(for the most part). It is that her, and her team have poorly communicated her positions over the last few months. It frustrating, because if played right she could have been the best candidate to untie party.
