Of course but not Stacey, she's not qualified. Let her actually be in a high position. She seems like she wants to run again for Georgia Governor in 2022 and I would love for her to become Governor of Georgia.

Kamala Harris would be a better VP choice than Stacey.

Also, another good VP pick would be Hakeem Jeffries.
It is hard to use that argument when Stacey Abrams is more qualified than our current president. Also Stacey has less baggage than Kamala. Kamala record as AG is just not good. I think Stacey would be a good choice for Biden. I think Ayanna Pressley would be a good choice for Bernie, and Andrew Gillum would be good option for Warren.

I don't see Biden serving two terms. He's most likely going to not run for a second term. Stacy Abrams stands no chance at becoming President if she runs in 2024 as the VP. I also don't see how she wins Biden any states in the South that he can't win on his own.

I think Biden's going to play it safe and ask someone like Jay Inslee (Washington Governor since 2013, long time US House Member) to be his VP. Biden will most likely want someone with true experience and Inslee has it.

I remember there was talk of Sally Yates as a VP candidate. I'd rather have her as a Attorney General candidate.

I think his VP will be a white man.

What about Tammy Baldwin? She knows how to win Wisconsin big time. And Tony Evers is the Governor (D) who can appoint her replacement.

We should not lower qualifications for federal positions just because Trump is President.

I don't disagree with your other choices for those respective candidates though.

Nah, Tammy Baldwin is a solid Senator and Wisconsin is turning into a purple state. We need to keep her in the Senate.

she’s never had to get a significant amount of black votes ever?

and she didn’t exactly kill it with the black community in California. She finished with just past 50% of black voters voting for her in Cali. That says alot

It is not just about southern states. Yes she gives you a better chance at winning Georgia, but it is about more than that. It would be a theory that she could get a higher Black turnout in battleground states as a whole.

False. She got about 80% of the Black vote in 2016.

he may pick a white man.

But with as much black support as he’s got to give us something.

and currently like it or not, the black dems are pushing Stacey for Vp. :yeshrug:

it can change but until it does, I’ll be pushing Stacey too. :wow:

Stay on code
She can have a cabinet spot. Not sold on VP. Imagine Trump deciding he wanted to run again in 2024 because Biden won't run again. he'd destroy her and be President again. That would be a nightmare.

That's a solid choice.

Biden has the old white man demographic which is a strong voter base. He also got some of them farmers on lock as well. He also has a strong endorsement from the firefighters union and united food and commercial workers union. My concern is that them middle age and old white men wouldn't like Stacey as a VP choice because quite frankly, she's a dark skin black woman and has progressive ideas that they not down with. Tammy Baldwin is safe. Probably a little too progressive for Biden, but she would tone that down. Plus she's gay so she can string along them LGBT people.

I don’t get why you think Gillum is ok but not Abrams. He doesn’t really have anymore experience than Stacey.

I like Tammy Baldwin, but you are right. Wisconsin is a super tough states to win, and I wouldn’t want to jeopardize that seat. I would also prefer Stacey run for senate, but it is clear that she wants to be VP.

Maybe, I think Biden already has those states won without her though. Especially PA. That's his territory.

It is possible but it is hard to tell this far out. I have major concerns if Biden is the nominee. His support for NATA, and TPP is not going to play well in Ohio,Michigan and Wisconsin. Trump is going hammer him on that. Also older Black people like Biden but he is not a favorite of Black people 45 and under. He is despised by progressives, and young people. I see a turnout problem if he is the nominee. So he will need a VP that can help him get close to bringing out the Obama Coalition. Another White male wouldn’t do that.

I said I don't mind Gillum for Warren but overall, Gillum shouldn't be VP until he's been Governor of Florida or a US House Representative.

I agree with you on Stacey running for the Senate.

Elizabeth Warren of all people is "establishment" now?

Did the definition of establishment change to "not Bernie" when I wasn't looking?

Maybe you didn't actually read the post you quoted when you weren't looking.

I said she is the last ditch compromise of the establishment, especially if Obama is now supporting her. She's much more willing to bullshyt her way through the primary, waffle on her positions and then play ball with the oligarchs if she's elected.
