Sweets aren't really that bad for you, even ice cream. Just stay away from processed sweets. Check out Makeda Voletta she drops a lot of good knowledge





Just skimming through it seems like she go against what everybody else says :ohhh:
Not saying she's right or wrong. Just find it interesting.

She likes to go with an "eat how our ancestors ate" approach from the looks of things
dairy (ice cream) & grains (flour for frying) wouldn't really fit that approach

edit: she seems like an all things in moderation person, and that's fine for most, especially if you're in maintenance, but i don't think it's gospel when it comes to the reality of people who really need to lose. that scoop becomes a pint or that two piece becomes a bucket real easy for some folks.

- Also, those stairs that I almost died on are a lot easier to get up. Lmao. Switched completely from elevators/escalators to stairs in addition to me walking over hopping on a bus. Unless I'm running really late.

Getting a little over 6000 steps in most days doing that.


- Diet hasn't been the greatest tho.... working on that. I have zero self discipline when it comes to snacks. I say I'm gonna portion control but end up eating an entire bag or container of something without even realizing it. So I'm just gonna stop buying snacks/ice cream altogether :dead: it ain't working out.


- I've been looking into bodyweight routines. Something simple and quick.

If I end up doing that I'm gonna need to buy one of those pullup assist bands because my upper body strength is in the negatives. Can't do a single pullup.
