DeShawn Stevenson sign-and-trade as part of Nets-Hawks Joe Johnson swap is 3 years, $6.9 M. Only 1st year ($2.3M) guaranteed.

I think the Lakers will do the deal with the confidence that he'll win a title and like it there enough to re-up. I dont even like Dwight, but just replace Bynum with him from last year and we win the title. As good as Bynum looked at times this year, he was just as bad the other half of the time. Dwight, like him or not, is gonna produce every night. Plus his post D and rebounding would mask a lot of Gasol's problems if we decide to keep him. Just sayin dont think the Lakers wont do that deal without him signing an extension if they think they can win the title this year.

Why would you trade for Dwight if he is already telling you he is going to become a FA? Why would Orlando take Bynum if he could do the same thing to them next year that Dwight is doing now?

Don't want him. Seems like the kinda dude that would use that coming off a back injury excuse or won't go all out in a contract yr cuznhe knows he'll get paid regardless

Because they will win the championship next year with Dwight and he'll be happy livin in LA and re-up. If this Joe Johnson deal is happening, Brooklyn is out of the picture anyway unless he gets traded there, which Orlando isnt gonna do
