Y'all do realize this man couldve gotten literally every and any woman he wanted right? There had to have been a reason why he didnt get married maybe gay or something. Your local scammer is making 2000 dollars a week and has bytches all over him, Paul Allen literally made that in a few minutes without having to lift a finger....
He was trying apparently, he just air-balled repeatedly in a spectacular fashion each time.

In this case, he has the money for a top-tier wardrobe, a trainer that can have him looking 65 in a 35-year-old's body, a chef that can cook him the healthiest food in the world and have him glowing, a tutor if he needs "courtship" training, and overall access to any metro venue or otherwise in the world where they'll be women. He's semi-famous, but only to a small portion of the population, he could easily slide in somewhere and have no one who knows him.
Women's standards aren't that high.

Well he's dead now breh...:francis: He was busy man was doing tons of shyt... and never took time to settle down... He COULD have found a wife but he was looking for real love breh...:francis: on the upside is that his nieces and his sister will never be broke again so in a weird way his legacy did live on through them... Maybe they will do something great with the money :ld:

I don't know what I would do if 17 Billion dropped in my lap... :pachaha: first thing is I'd leave the US to somewhere warm permanently and lay low not a care in the world.

You don't know what legacy means.

Like I said in the thread announcing his passing

He has a greater legacy than the vast majority of the people who lived at the same time he did.
Naw,

You dont understand due to being a dikkriding groupie.

There is a reason why despite having all that , his greatest desire was a wife and seed:francis:

Yeah Im sure women turned down a multibillionaire because he wasnt attractive. Thecoli.com yall :mjlol:

This dude, like many in his position, knew that money was the only reason that he got attention from women. That is a sad existence.... not being able to find unconditional love and a woman WANTING to bear your childen.

A lot of men die alone... it happens more than you think, obviously not millionaires and billionaires.

Lol @ unconditional love. :mjlol:

Majority of couples out there settled with each other and I guarantee you if some average dude working 9-5 suddenly became a billionaire, he’s leaving her for a much better looking woman. Same if Paul Allen approached his wife, she’ll be out in seconds.

so who has more of a legacy? this dude who built microsoft and died with 17 billion, or some douche bag who makes 50k a year and has two mediocre kids who resent him?

it's all relative :dead: theres no right or wrong answer, only personal preference

Your legacy is to you and your family...my grandfather and where he came from means more to me than the founder of mucorosoft

To be fair, the article is about him specifically: he made a statement about wanting to be married and have children.
Dude was apparently incredibly awkward, poorly dressed, treated dating a lot like a middle-schooler would, and he would throw fits if the married women that worked at his company didn't want to sleep with him. He had a couple of harassment suits as well, dude was embarrassing for a billionaire.

Dude brought about the personal computer revolution and made an indelible mark on the history tech and culture. He worked harder and achieved more than most can ever dream of. Not only that, he actually built something from the ground up--meaning he played a large role in creating something that previously did not exist. To build and create is at the apex of human thought and existence.

Here come people on an internet forum, the existence of which is largely possible because of the contributions of Mr Allen, talking about how he dressed, breaking down his thought process (as if anyone would know), and trying to assess how *cool* of a billionaire he was.

Black people priorities are so off base. :palm:

He did help bring about the microcomputer revolution that changed tech. He also will be a figure of permanence in culture.
He wasn't that cool, he was genuinely below average when it came to socialisation, hence why he kept getting in trouble for sexually harassing the women who worked at Microsoft, and had short-lived and rocky relationships, and why he never got married.
We can talk about the guy, the article is about his embarrassing personal life.
Not really a Black person thing. It was published in The Sun after all.

Nah

Nothing about what dude said in the post you quoted was wrong by all accounts.

You can be a narcissistic, socially awkward a$$hole and STILL be a “genius”

Most tech guys in Silicon Valley are that way and it’s mounds of evidence to prove they are extremely hard to work with, let alone to date.

Neither view of him is wrong.
