Lookahere mayne...
But, you weren't though. $700/wk take home is more than $15/hr.
Well, guess I was doing better than I thought I was back then. All I saw was 13.65 and a warhouse 50% of my days.

I'm not mentioning NY prices, I've strictly stated bill payment strictly on average in the south. We both know 15 aint cutting it in NY. I get it, there are some real deals out there, but most can't either afford them or their credit wont get them there. I know you agree with this.BUT IT'S NOT FACT. LOCATION IS A HUGE HERE. I POSTED A 3 BEDROOM HOME IN A GOOD SUBURB FOR 50K. THAT'S ROUGHLY 400 A MONTH. THAT'S LESS THAN 25% OF YOUR INCOME. THAT'S BELOW THE RECOMMENDED 30% ALLOTMENT FOR HOUSING. YA'LL GOTTA STOP MENTIONING NYC AND CALI HOUSING. THOSE NUMBERS ARE WAAAAAAAY OFF TO THE POINT THAT ECONOMISTS DON'T EVEN LIKE TO INCLUDE THEM ON NATIONAL AVERAGES BECAUSE IT SKEWS THE NUMBERS SO MUCH.

My friend pays 430 but she's based on incomeHow much does rent go for in a bad neighborhood then?

That's why most are posting rent prices, they know buying a house aint an option.
You're opposed to that too.A federal "livng wage" has always been bullshyt. If min wages are going to be set, they need to be set at the state level.
Depends on where you live, NY and CA you're fukked.
No. It's 28800. How'd you get 31?
15 x 40 = 600 a week x 4 = 2400 a month x 12 = 28800 a year.
Gotta have the right income to have the right credit, and very true, you gotta know what to do with that income to help build and maintain good credit. But like I mentioned and I'm sure you agree, that's why the vast majority who did mention places to live mentioned RENT. I'd be curious to ask any of these guys that believe $15 is good what is their credit scores. I'd doubt any are at even 650 and that's considered fair. but that's another topic.THAT'S A REFLECTION OF CREDIT MORE THAN INCOME THOUGH. I DO AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT ACCESS. THAT'S JUST A MATTER OF EDUCATION THOUGH. 10 YEARS AGO 15/HR WOULDN'T WORK FOR ME BECAUSE OF MY FINANCIAL IGNORANCE.

I am wondering if these livable cases involve having a decent, reliable cars, preferably one still under warranty. I ask this and I did make a call to one of my cousins who lives in the south, Memphis in particular.
I've seen it when I have visited, they have a lot of buy here/pay here places, all up and down streets two named Lamar ave and Winchester road, but one is highly notorious there....American Car Center. It's a used car place that doesn't sell cars outright, but rather leases them. Your leasing a used car, the option to buy comes later.
A 2012 Ford Fusion for instance would likely run 205 every two weeks, for three years, totally roughly 15 grand for an 9 grand car.. After that, you either give it back, and don't keep it...or you pay a residual price, which is basically equal to what you've been paying for the two weeks for another 6 mos, then you can keep it. the don't really check credit, all you need is a job they can verify. I'm sure other cities have this awfulness that is called a business.

They offer a warranty tho. but yup, but you do what you have to. As one of my cousins put it "i'm paying more, but only put 500 down, and it'll crank up in the morning.", but one of my uncles who lives down there as well only rides older cars like a 93 grand marquis.Wow. So basically a lease with a high azz interest rate on a questionably reliable car
