I'm not doubting you read it somewhere, I'm doubting it being accurate. Incomes in Florida have gone down, I know, I frequent there a lot. But average salary in Florida for the most part is 40k a year, which is much higher than $15 an hour.

My point is that flipping burgers ain't meant to be a liveable wage. The thought of some 16 year old pushing a new Infiniti because he gets paid an inflated wage due to grown people that are really struggling, doesn't make sense.

That's the point being made. A vacation isn't a luxury item. You can take a cruise for 500 bucks all inclusive. That shouldn't too taxing. it's just one weeks pay.

I agree, pay for your own vacation. Vacation is a reward for hard work. I take 2 a year.
