$15.00 an hour isn't a lot of money.

Problem Is The Majority Of This Country Is Making Minumum Payments On 4-8 Credit Cards A Month Totaling $400-$800 A Month Then Yelling They Don’t Make Enough To Live lol

edit: Add In A Ridiculous Car Payment
Majority of people have ridiculous car payments because they don't want to save money for a car while they have one

10 years ago I had an apartment for
500 a month,
utilities were about 80 a month
Cell phone bill was about 80-90
Cable and Wi-Fi was about 100
No kids no car payment

Plus I was making about 2500 a month - do the math:manny:

In 2017 having cable, Wi-Fi and cell phone bill totally up to 200 on 15hr is dumb and irresponsible.

Well you have to live within your means. Moving to a cheaper (but safe area), public transport to save up and get a better place, cook your own food instead of eating out, Netflix instead of cable...you have to prioritize. It ain't a lot but people can survive if you aren't living in Manhattan, Frisco, or a place similarly expensive.
Forget having internet, cable shoot...thats almost a g a year that can be saved...have Netflix and internet but no life insurance brehs

Alright, you can see yourself out of the conversation now.

Like I said: 31k a year qualifies someone for public assistance? You can get food stamps on 31k a year? Bc you couldn’t in 1997, 2007, nor 2017 <<< I’m wrong?

Like somebody else pointed out, that’s middle class entry level salary, we hire people at that rate now and they’re doing just fine too.

You cats with X number of kids and have addictions to high price lifestyles, say that shyt - but stop acting like 31k is living in squalor :camby:

I live by myself and pay for everything...rent is 675,car note plus insurance is 350,gas/electric $90,phone $80,gas $100,food $200...so yes I do it on 14.25.

Your bills equal $1500

14.24*80= 1140. After taxes/medical you net around $900 BW $1800ish monthly???

That doesn't leave any wiggle room for 401k or savings, or have extra money in your pocket. One flat tire or traffic ticket and that's it. Plus I also don't believe you're only paying $90 for both gas and the electric bill. And $675 is on the lowest of the lowest end of rent, pretty much a dump.

Breh, you were making $15 an hour in 2007 paying $500 a month in rent. You had more buying power and paying relatively cheap rent for even that time period. We're in 2017 now. A two bedroom apartment in an area where you won't get your door kicked in is about 11-1200 dollars in Houston. The "cheap" south. And you all do realize you're not even taking home the entire $15 per hour, right? :skip:

And you're using your company as a measure of fair hiring wages? An American Corporation? :skip: Please, see yourself out sir.
