$15.00 an hour isn't a lot of money.

The south ain't as cheap as it once was... Gentrification has pushed rent up in most if not all the major cities below the dixen
South still cheap as hell though. Comparatively speaking. You can live alone on 15 an hour down south. You not living by yourself in Cali on 15 an hour.

Most of y'all taking this literally and ain't digging deeper.

Yt ppl take home more than y'all think. Yes, it's yts working for $15 hr but understand the dynamics of generational wealth...

Sad that y'all think most of yt america lives in poverty, how our ppl do... They have land, wealth and human capital... Connections. Things they won't acknowledge to you.

If you making 15, don't find a second job, you'll only burn out. Instead, look into an automated hustle... The goal is to get paid by the least amount of effort.

we arent talking about generational wealth :what:

if you can't make it work off 32k a year (not including areas with extremely high cost of living) then you aren't making the right decisions with your money.

a single person with no kids or debt should be fine on that amount.

You're speaking from a NY perspective, go into the "How much do you pay for rent" threads and you'll see the cost of living in some other spots Coli posters are it is like 1/4th that of NYC.

Once you see people talking about mortgages that are under $1000 a month you can see why $15 a month could float people.
I'll take a look, still doubt it.

Places like Walmart are doing that now and have for years. Most of their registers are closed. They may have two or three actual cashiers, but for the most part you gotta check out at the self check. That concept just saved Walamrt money, they didn't transfer that into higher wages. for the few cashiers they have.
I :childplease:at those people waiting in the cashier lines complaining and there are about a dozen of self-checkout machines available.

People are so afraid of simple technology

You live with your parents, have a roomate, or split shyt cost with your girl. No way anyone living on they own with that salary.
I live by myself and pay for everything...rent is 675,car note plus insurance is 350,gas/electric $90,phone $80,gas $100,food $200...so yes I do it on 14.25.
