They could have had this fight next week no problem with no conflicts for major sporting events. SEC Championship game last year had like 18 million viewers. I don’t know why some people in the U.S act like they are the world, they’re not. In Saudi where the fight is happening it’s a good time, in U.K it’s prime time where AJ is from, it may be a bit earlier in U.S but it was late in U.K before. U.K is where the PPV is with Sky, in U.S it’s DAZN which is a subscription based service so it makes sense to be on at a good time for the PPV customers as they would be less likely to buy if the fight was on at 5am or whatever there. If you’re a boxing fan this is a must watch, there’s numerous sporting events on the day but this is by far the biggest 1 and a global 1.
This fight feels really big, it all together feels like something special. May the best man win, should be a dope event overall. Will be watching everything on the card including the Facebook fight.
