The historic series between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes will eventually come to an end this week on SmackDown. As Nick Aldis said on last week’s broadcast, the two will face off one last time to bring this series to a close. However, there’s more at risk. Whoever wins the seventh match will be proclaimed the number-one challenger for the United States Championship, currently held by LA Knight. Hayes and Andrade have been fighting for months, attempting to destroy one other to see who is the better contender.
After Jimmy Uso returned to SmackDown and informed Roman Reigns that they needed help against The Bloodline last Friday, The OTC and Jimmy found themselves overwhelmed by the numbers when they suffered a vicious assault at the hands of Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Will they receive the help they need in their ongoing conflict with The Bloodline?
Angel and Berto made it clear that they believe they deserve a crack at the WWE Tag Team Championship. While not denying them a championship possibility, Aldis claimed that if they beat a team he hand-picked for next week, they would be one step closer to a title bout. Not long after that statement, a video package aired spelling out the acronym “MCMG,” potentially indicating the identify of the duo. Who could this mystery team be and can Los Garza manage to win one over them?
After coming face-to-face with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther on Raw, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is set to address his match against The Ring General for the Crown Jewel Championship on Nov. 2.
The Viper is ready to strike! After getting attacked by Kevin Owens backstage, Randy Orton will return to SmackDown to confront his former tag team partner. Orton has been caught in the crossroads between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens for the past several weeks. Speaking of Owens, the Prizefighter has given WWE until SmackDown to air a video explaining his recent actions against both Rhodes and Orton.
