ya meme season is definitely still in effect…I saw this token LADYS shooting up the top meme coins chart (coingecko) and found out it got a boost from elon musk claiming he bought some lol smh…according to coinmarketcap it’s run up 4000x in the last 5 days…didn’t buy any cuz I’m finding out about it on the ass end of the run…dunno if it still has some run left in it or if it can/will hit other exchanges

*edit*

correction…musk tweeted something about a milady NFT which has NO association to the milady (LADYS) meme coin but you know how the crypto crowd is lmao

Some beef I ordered earlier this month from a local rancher arrived yesterday. Paid w/bitcoin over lightning via the app, Oshi: Oshi: A community driven Bitcoin rewards platform

Oshi app will show you what local businesses in your area accepts bitcoin. You can also potentially earn sats back with some purchases. It's up to the businesses themselves to set the % sat back rate for their products.

Another app you guys might want to familiarize yourselves with is BTC Map. It shows what businesses worldwide accept bitcoin: BTC Map

Trying to live on that bitcoin standard, my guy. 😎

Spend & replace sats on shyt you would've bought anyway to help support your local circular bitcoin economy.

I think I found out about Oshi at one of the panel discussions at last years Bitcoin Conference (hosted by Bitcoin Magazine). Whole event was livestreamed. Speaking of which, 2023's is just around the corner (May 18 - 20). Should be interesting.

I think so.

Can't immediately confirm though myself. I deleted my Coinbase account last year, along with accounts on other major crypto exchanges. Only buy bitcoin KYC free now.

But, yeah. Lightning payments are quick:

I can't access my drip, anytime I try to connect to my wallet it says unable to fetch (Trust wallet).
Anyone experience this issue?

What exchanges are you using
This site lists p2p crypto exchanges that don't require KYC: KYC? Not me!

So far I've only used Robosats. It doesn't require anything from you to use it. No ID/passport copies, no phone number, not even an email address.

You'll need to download/install Tor browser to access it: The Tor Project | Privacy & Freedom Online

After installation, you'll input Robosats' onion address in the Tor website search bar: Accessing RoboSats

The onion address should look something like this: robosats6tkf3eva7x2voqso3a5wcorsnw34jveyxfqi2fu7oyheasid.onion

I took some screenshots of what you'll see when you first access Robosats. You click a few buttons to create a temporary identity to buy/sell bitcoin:

Here's a tutorial video on how to get started:

Two tips:

01) Not all lightning wallets work well with Robosats. Wallet of Satoshi works fine. That's what I use. Here's a compatibility list put out by Robosats: Wallets Compatibility with RoboSats

02) To cut down on fraud, a little bitcoin collateral is needed from both buyer & seller before a transaction can initiate. If the only bitcoin you already possess is from a KYC source/exchange, hit me up. If you or anyone here reading this are using Robosats for the first time, and need some non-KYC sats to get started, send me a screenshot of the collateral you need to put up in my DM, and I'll help you out.
