You can't but then again you can. But not like me. I been staking my ATOM since last year, with keplr, and recently they took a snapshot of the wallets that have atom staked and osmosis in a liquidity pool. Most of my airdrop is from having atom staked. Osmosis and Juno are two airdrops I've gotten this year from staking Atom and there are a few others coming. They take snapshots at certain points to determine eligibility. I've seen one or two that I didn't do cuz they involved doing some extra stuff instead of just receiving coins. But the ones I have gotten plus some of the ones to come are definitely helping me.
This guy on Reddit shared this document recently.
Not working so let me try to look for it.
Doesn't have all the airdrops since LUM wasn't on there. But does have some good info on some of them. Some of the snapshot dates might have passed, and some are in the future. I'm leaving my coins staked and taking advantage of as many of these opportunities I can get.

no doubt. I'm all about us getting financial freedom. As far as Bezoge, I'm still trying to figure why it's running when almost everything else is down, but I'm not complaining.

On the topic of air drops, is that dependent on where you are holding the coins as well as how long? Like if I had it in an exchange instead of a wallet or if specific exchanges are more likely to receive attention
