Why did it need screen time on Thursday when it's going to get screen time on Friday. That match with Io and Bayley was set, the other stuff was up in the air, they want the teases, so people can get the anticipation going.

By that logic, why is Cody at Smackdown to promote something that is apparently set -- when the other half of it is not at the show, supposedly -- when he had his time on Thursday?

He's probably not going to be on TV. He's not advertised on the SD preview page and he would be if he was going to be on TV. He's likely going to be in the dark match/dark segment afterwards. This is standard protocol. He's done this plenty of times and so has Seth. They've posted their dates on their Twitter and the ones marked SD ended up being dark segments.

They can do that on a Raw, no need to waste a chamber for that. It's pretty traditional now to have a chamber match to set up the contender to the other world title. I see no reason for them to stray from it this year. Like I said, it was a timing issue, no need to announce the chamber until the RR winner made their choice, hence why it was announced for the women this week after Bayley made her decision. Now that Cody has made his, I expect them to start building something for the men and Seth's eventual opponent.

More likely to get an IC title #1 contender match since Gunther won’t be there and Jey needs to set the match up.

Sami wants the title and I'm sure they can add others. It would likely be 3 SD, 3 Raw like the women but there might be more Raw credible contenders to just stick to Raw talent.

Chamber could easily be: Drew, Sami, Nakamura, AJ, Orton, LA Knight

Will have to see what they announce for the US Title because LA Knight could be in that picture instead.
