I'm not even denying that she's black, she's still a Dominican women and Dominicans don't identify with African Americans, they don't identify with the same issues, they didn't face the same struggles, etc.

When you're a minority, you face similar struggles.
Breh, I'm Dominican and I grew up around black people. For a long time in the 80s, that's all there was in my apt building growing up. The Dominican struggle definitely isn't the black struggle in America. But the black struggle in America also damn sure aint the Dominican struggle in DR. And if you or anyone you know grew up in el campo in DR...you KNOW what that was like back in the day.

So maybe the two peoples aren't identical, but in some ways they're similar. And one could quite easily sympathize with the other.

And Zoe is also part Puerto Rican.

But rather than argue about whether Zoe is "black" in the traditional American sense...all you guys need to stop giving this woman attention like having a baby is a big damn deal.
