Some people chose to be haters and doubters without actually watching and analyzing his game.
Like some people just realizing he doesn't just dunk (he has a post game).
Dude is instantly one of my favorite players to watch, he’s got such a nice game. And it’s lowkey dope NO got him after they basically were forced to move on from AD. As a Bulls fan I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy him as much on like the Lakers or Knicks lmao. I’m looking forward to watching this NO team develop

@Gil Scott-Heroin

You still feel like 25 ppg for this dude is impossible?
Not impossible, but it's highly unlikely to happen.

I mean, for argument's sake, a lot of players could average 25 ppg if they had an endless green-light, but Zion's not going to be in a position where the Pels will be forcing him to carry the scoring like that all season long, in his first year (especially since he'll have conditioning barriers he'll need to overcome), and then you've got the lows that every rookie goes through which will only naturally reduce his average. And, of course, the obvious of him not having a jumpshot to layer his scoring when he can't get it going on the inside.

He shot 68% at Duke.
Do you know how hard it is to shot a FG% that high?
When you a combo of Westbrook and Shaq, anything is possible. I think 25ppg is possible due to NO defense. Otherwise, I wouldn't think it was possible. Them dudes will create a lot of turnovers.

I hear what you are saying, but this dude is so effortless at the rim that I dont even think he will need a green light to average 25+ ppg.

He could probably get that with 15 shots a game. With the way he plays in transition and having a pass first PG, I think this dude is going to dominate. Even if he does have a below average jumper, unless teams completely sell out to stop him in the paint....I don't see it being that big of an issue.

Why are people acting all surprised, dude was doing this nightly last season at Duke
We don't even have to go back that long to remember a guy who came into the league and overwhelmed everyone with his athleticism: Blake Griffin.

Blake put up 22.5/12/4 his rookie season coming off a broken kneecap. Zion is a freak of nature just like him; even stronger. He's absolutely gonna put up numbers right out of the gate.

Even if you sell out to stop him, his damn pop off the ground cover space like a bytch. Favors might get in his way but the way Gentry sets up his gameplans, it's like Zion is always in space. That dribble drive is a bigger killer at this level than at Duke.

The last kid I saw get his way like this in the NBA at such a young age.... was Bron himself. Zion just turned 19 and one of the best, most disciplined teams in the NBA defensively, anchored by the reigning DPOY no less, is virtually helpless against him :mindblown:

I ain't even looking at this from a homer lens anymore, like I haven't seen anything like this in over 15 years. shyt is absolutely insane, I was excited as hell when we won the draft but I never honestly expected anything like this so soon. :picard:

Our team is supposed to be fukking deep and full of vets brehs, we ain't supposed to be giving him this kinda role so early. But we literally just dumping him the ball and letting him go to work like he's a superstar in his prime already!!!! And that shyt is fukking working y'all!!!!!!!:gawdamn::gawdamn::gawdamn::gawdamn::KingKaiTOWEL:

This MF can't even drink legally yet!!!!!!!!!! :hellno::gucci::InfinityPicard:

YO WTF:gucci:

He played with bum ass Bolden last year. He'll be alright next to Favors. Zion is so good off the ball. He doesn't need the ball in his hands to get his points. That's the crazy thing. Zion is far from ball dominant or a ball stopper.
