Imagine rooting for a 19 year old to fail just cause the media is Non stop hyping him...some of y’all are truly some miserable losers :mjlol:

We've just witnessed one of the greatest teams in NBA history over the last half a decade, who were hated to no end, on this board, largely down to the media hyping them, but now it's suddenly a problem if folks don't jump on the hype train for a player that hasn't proven anything as of yet?

In fact, some of the posters who are making these arguments were the same ones hating on that team.

Unless they where playing the Rockets in the playoff.

Center self, inner self
watching this i'm surprised how effective he was BELOW the rim
All those scoops and up and unders without really relying on his athleticism
If he can finish in traffic like that it may alleviate some of his Mitchell Robinson problems
Zion has a finesse game, which was primarily how he scored in college. Lots of finger rolls, up and unders, etc. That's what makes him special--super fast feet, soft touch, power and speed, etc.

You must not have watched him at Duke then. It's not a shot at you either. He was doing this in college. You don't shoot the field goal percentage he did without being able to finish around the rim. It wasn't all dunks either.

The Truth

Honestly, he still looks out of shape to me.

I'm hoping the reason why they're running him so hard now is so he gets back in shape. Gentry got to figure out how to bring his weight down but keep his strength and athleticism. He just needs to drop like 15lbs...

But again, still dropped the most efficient 29 points on a NBA team at a young age EVER
