How do you figure I'm wrong about this, when it's factually correct - despite his athleticism, he's still going to be limited by his smaller wingspan over what he can do. There's nothing to debate - it's a fact. Can he mitigate this to a certain degree, through his athleticism? Yes. But he's always going to be at a disadvantage because of it. And like I've said, you can't take anything from two preseason games (against two of the worst defenses who didn't have their full-rosters) as if it disproves what you perceive to be my point. Especially since he's scored almost all of his points through defensive breakdowns and in transition - not to mention, I've seen him be bothered by length against the Knicks, where he got his shot blocked multiple times.

@Gil Scott-Heroin so it's ok too come to a conclusion about a player in summer league after he didnt play for months and was obviously out of shape...but when it comes to putting up numbers against established stars it doesnt count because its pre season? Mitchell robinson..one of the best shot blockers in the league..of course he was going to block an out of shape zion..zion still had 11 points in 9 minutes that game
Also zion will draw more fouls than he is going to get blocked so that is a mute point. There isnt a shaq in the league, these lanky players are going to bounce off of him and the fouls will rack up
