Guys like Zion and maybe Barrett can average 20-25 their rookie season if they didn't have teammates who will take shots from them
Zion will be a superstar along with his buddy Barrett.
I’m sure he could if he had the green light to take as many shots as possible. I just don’t see it happening on THIS New Orleans team.

It's crazy how you wouldn't think this dude was super athletic if you saw him walking down the street. But as soon as he gets on the court that explosiveness is nothing short of amazing.

Pelicans are gonna be fun to watch this year, might have to hit that Indian league pass lick.
What's this about :scheme:

He needs to develop a jumper. Its one thing to bully soft ass ATL in the preseason. Once the season progresses and defenses figure him out/he starts to wear down(sorry dude is fat) he won't be effective. Plus nobody in that starting lineup stretches the floor at all. May have to start reddikk

He fasho needs a jumper

But long as he doesn’t get hurt/have a major injury nobody gonna be able to stop him once he plant his feet and leap, too strong and too explosive

Not a chance he averages 25 ppg without a jumpshot, especially not at 50+% (which is an arbitrary nonsensical mark as it is). You're in for a rude awakening if you think he's gonna put up production like that.

yall its some miserable people in this world....and the coli especially :gucci:

for nikkas to actually root and hope for this cat to fail

says alot about yall

how shytty must life be for you cats? :francis:
How many people are rooting and hoping for him to fail in this thread?

:usure:

All I see is folks trying to discuss his game, and the limitations he has. And I mean, if this is how you gauge the miserable demographic on here, then that line of thinking would apply to 99.9% of this board (and yes, that includes you). This board sure has reached a dark place where we can't even breakdown a player's game anymore without being accused of praying on their downfall.

Who's man is this?

Blake Griffin was able to average almost 23 ppg at over 50% without a jumper his rookie year....but its impossible for the best prospect since Bron to do it? Ok bruh.

I've actually been 300lbs before my father is Nigerian I don't know his tribe, but to put it simply I gain muscle and weight extremely easy.Im 6'1 220 and 12%right now that came from research, regular exercise, and knowing the body feeling of full.Im also extremely hyper ,but the reason I bring up work ethic and motor because playing sports I saw Alot of guys who were even more genetically gifted than me not be able to make that mind muscle connection or do the research in nutrition to find out what the body needed to be at its peak.Hes going to have to do all that plus develop facets of his game to be a superstar .LeBron does all of these things from the nutrition the research and skill development.im also really impressed with the detailed conditioning he does for his lower back and core Zion blowing up like that knowing smer league was coming (a easy opportunity for him to be SC Top Ten a make a even bigger buzz)let's le know he don't get it.For s dude with the juice and hype to no get it yet as a #1pick is scary.
of course he doesnt get it. he's basically a kid. there's a reason a lot of these guys be out of shape coming into the summer. its because they havent seen a basketball since the tourny. people dont realize that. thats 2 or 3 months of no hoop. just working out regularly and doing your normal routine. maybe throw in some stuff you may have to do in a combine but he was #1. Z didnt have to work out for anyone. What i'm saying is, i'm not nearly as worried as others are. I think with time and a NBA trainer, he will be lighter than he has been in college. and even then he LOOKED fatter than he actually was because of his large jaws. people see those chicks and think fat boy. but he wasnt fat at all. some of it is just him growing up and coming into his grown man body. he doesnt even know what his true walking around weight will be as a full grown 23 year old or so. he will be stronger just on the fact he's officially grown by then. more muscle as well.

he just doesnt make me think lazy when i see him play. its just going to be tough for him to keep the weight off vs other skinny dudes that are naturally rail thin at 6'7.

you cant compare the two. Bron got into the super training after years in the nba. he wasnt doing all of what he does now back in the early days. no one ever is. as hard as kobe was working he was living off of mcdonalds burgers and fries. he said it himself. horrible habits early on like pretty much every other young dude. you live and you learn.
