Chinese cut a lot of corners when building shyt to pocket the money.

You can find a surplus of videos on YouTube of chinese elevators, escalators, ceilings, roads etc falling apart because of poor building.

If china is not a better option, lesser of two evils, why are african nations taking loans from them and not the west? Why is infrastructure better in the hands of the west, any particular reason?

Have you ever had the pleasure to enter these Chinese built skyscrapers. Do you not watch the news on how Chinese cut corners and try to finesse the most inferior product for massive return. Westerners are much better in infrastructure building. There is no debate. Many African countries are still actively using buildings built by euros from the days when they first “discovered” Africa. That’s how their engineering has stood the test time. African leadersare borrowing from China for multiple reasons. A few reasons being because China meddles less in politics or so they did, and cares mainly about growing their economy and have less strings attached to their loan which was in my opinion never the case. They simply approached African Nations by reminding them of their less than stellar relations with the West and build a common ground on the fact that they too were a developing/semi colonized nation that has progressed enough to approaching superpower status. And many African leaders fell for it hook, line and sinker. In large part because they are sick of being beholden to the West and being told what to do. China has claimed they have no interest in policing the world like the West has been doing. But if you watched their moves that is less and less true every day. Buying other countries debts. Requesting the yuan/renminbi becomes the currency of exchange to replace the USD with the countries that they are trading. They are following the steps of the West but just from a backdoor sort of way.

I am not insinuating that Africans should stick solely to Westerners. I am saying they need to make everyone compete and need to abate their kleptomaniac ways. The amount of money/resources being embezzled is one of the major issues. If that doesn’t change it don’t matter who they partner with. These a$$hole are living like Kings eating from a BUFFET table rather than acting like political leaders dedicated to growing their respective economies. So much so, that whenever one does the bare minimum people are quick to want to elevate him to GOD status. That’s just pathetic.

Now, my issue isn’t that they are stealing, it’s the fact that they steal to the point of leaving nothing and every new leader has to start back to square 1. In addition, their inability to impose themselves on the world stage is affecting all of us of African descent, disapsoran or not. Their incompetence has been costing the black race a lot.
