I would've never thought she would blatantly cosign a piece like this...
Brotha you just don't know her history....

It shows you don't know Jemele. Whatever you think Bomani is as a male feminist, Jemele is twice as bad. She just toned it down since getting the prime spot on ESPN.
Eh, I'm all for the form for written debate instead of sheer brawn over brains...but the argument itself is poor. It didn't even state anything.Real shyt. This Damon young clown wouldn't dare stand up say this in a room full of straight black men.
It shows you don't know Jemele.

This is what happens when you don't flesh out your arguments but instead you let your iPhone notes day-dream diary out on the internet in the form of journalism.
It was so poorly written I couldn't even agree with anything in it if I tried. It was devoid of any actual arguments outside of some soppy emo bullshyt.
So you only consider whites to be privileged in this society? That's what you're rolling with now just to be obtuse? Let's bet that I can do a simple search and find you talking about other kinds of privileges(colorism) in the community. Light skinned black can be privileged over darker skinned black skin due to white supremacy, but black women can't be privileged over black men?I don't consider basic human rights a privilege. I don't consider anything earned on merit a privilege.
In a fair society, they are not.
To call them privileges is to fall into the trap of sectarianism that White supremacy has set.
To me, a privilege is White folks being able to go to the best schools or get a cushy job without the merit.
That's clearly the issue as I explained in one of my earlier posts. The only reason that we get articles like this from black feminists(male or female) promoted on mainstream platforms which goes a long way to perpetuate black dysfunction, is because whites empower/privilege black women, black gays, and those who perpetuate white liberalism over blacks who don't. Especially straight black men. This advantage/privilege is what is perpetuating the problem. We have to call the problem out for what it is to begin to side-step/overcome it.I've been pointing out the advantages Black women have over us for years on this very forum.
But I don't think that is the issue.
Its annoying as fukk but if Black women realized the schism White supremacy is engineering, we'd still have to network with the greater diaspora and build to get out of this rut.
Like you said...Dude is a agent.A "breh" is defending the article in the Jemele hill thread. I'm sure you can guess who it is

Nah, I wasn't saying that he wouldn't say this in front of straight black men due to physical threat. He wouldn't say this due to knowing that he would be challenged intellectually and there wouldn't be anywhere to hide. The reason that black liberals don't really engage those within the black community who disagree is because they can't and they don't have to. This Damon young clown can get a bullshyt poorly written garbage ass article pushed on mainstream platforms simply because he's saying things that whites want to hear. He probably doesn't even live around or associate with straight black men.Eh, I'm all for the form for written debate instead of sheer brawn over brains...but the argument itself is poor. It offered nothing to agree with.
How are we going to solve a problem if we're too scared to even point it out?
