Okay forgive my laziness b/c I'm not watching nearly two hours of this. Nor am I reading the article.
What's the major premise?
I've seen this idea before.
So they are saying "straight, black men are the white men of the black community".
This is problematic for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the association of heterosexuality with negative connotations of white masculinity. The homosexual community is NOT supportive of us and only used the model of our struggle to jumpstart their own agenda. In fact some homosexuals are just as racist as the men they accusing of this. So anytime u try to lump that in with black issues, it rings alarm bells off in my head. AGENDA!
Second issue is when people make criticism of individuals in our race, they need to be far more discriminant. There are ABSOLUTELY some black men in our race who loath black women, feel like dating one is a step down, and who wish to divorce themselves from anything traditionally associated with blkness. That's the truth. Hell I meet some everyday in academia. And their goal IS to become not just the white men of our community, but white altogether. These are the brothas who hang out with whites and get mad when whites try to hook them up with blk women like that's an insult. Or the brothas who associate black femininity with inferiority. Who feel like winning is living in a white neighborhood with an exotical princess on his arm. Who is denying these types exist. Hope we not lying today.
But the issue is that ur projecting these minority c00ns onto an ENTIRE demographic that has already been disenfranchised. AND there are black women who act like the white women of our race as well but nobody is discussing blk female adoption of toxic white female traits to the detriment of our community. And I'm not talking about feminism either. I'm talking bout white female pop culture where u fukk everything, drink ur problems away, buy designer bags like u got it like that with the expectation that there will still be a man to put up with u when ur out of ur prime. A lot of black women trying their DAMNDEST to be white chicks right down to the willingness to lay up under the worlds most insecure fakkit: da white man.
To me this is the same ole same ole. Nobody is willing to have ANY critical conversations about blk men or blk women b/c the truth hurts too much.
Let me know when a black man is willing to come forth about the toxicity of black male subculture that seeks to justify any wrong doing against a black woman out of a failed attempt at painting her as the enemy b/c he feels powerless to strike the REAL enemy. I'm talking to the men who would believe and try to justify the actions of dudes like R. Kelly even tho he's been preying on the young women in our community for years. Instead of feeling the pain of a young blk woman living in poverty impressed by some money, they'd rather these "bytches" just STFU so as to not sully the king of R&B's name. I'm talking about the blk men who are so desperate for any type of masculinity that they glorify pimp culture and prey on poor young exploited blk women in the hood LIKE their white brethren exploiting poor impoverished people in 3rd world countries. The blk men who wanna disassociate themselves from blk culture and blame it all on black women even tho they grew up and contributed to it as well.
Let me know when I can have a conversation with a real black woman about vulnerability and the hurt and resentment and distrust she carries towards all blk men, b/c she grew up in an environment of vultures who used her as soon as her chest began to bud. Talk to me about how the strong, independence isn't something to brag about but is a trap that robs us of our femininity. Or how blk women pretending to be doing just fine without their men, while hiding depression through hypertension, diabetes, obesity and cancer. Talk to me about how a lot of these dykes pump faking and really just hurt but don't wanna admit to needing or wanting a man b/c they don't feel attractive to their own race of men. Talk to me about toxic femininity and being so love starved that u hopin a child will bind you to an unwilling partner that u know secretly hates u and only wants to use u for ur body. Tell me about how u take it out on the children you raise while trying to act like courting a single mother lifestyle is to be celebrated.
When these intellectuals can talk to me about how the failure of blk marriage is correlated to our failed economic state, and how some toxic black men aren't even attracted to black women but will sit there and pretend that if they just changed, they would love them. Also talk to me about how some blk women have completely forsaken their femininity but are trying to force themselves on ALL MEN under the lens of social justice. When we start admitting that some blk women can and have been perfect but blk men STILL fukked over them and bragged about treating them like shyt.
When we can admit to black women resenting blk men for not putting her on a whoredom pedastal where she can eat shyt and still live a Betty Crocker lifestyle like a white woman.
When we get to these levels of real w/o anger or emotion or resentment for saying this type of shyt, THEN @ me
@R$G META. Otherwise I'm just gonna be labeled a blk male basher by blk men who don't wanna take ANY accountability and a mammie blk male panderer by blk females who don't wanna take accountability either.
I'm tired of talking around this shyt and pointing fingers. Black men and black women gotta come clean about everything. Otherwise, STFU and stop using our community issues as a banner for why ur resentful brokeass, bitter wannabe a white man dikk is dry or why nobody is interested in loving a "real woman"/unhealthy helmet hat wearing "queen".
And by the way, if one butthurt a$$hole comes sideways at me even tho I've CLEARLY CALLED OUT BOTH BLACK MEN AND WOMEN, then save ur tears for somebody who cares. Nobody is fukking perfect so get off ur high horse. Sorry that the world has blamed black men and women for everything but pretending like some of us aren't trifling isn't getting us anywhere.
