Meh, I think that’s a reach. She says that she wants/appreciates non-ados black allies. The counter here whether you agree with Yvette, Tone, Tariq and Co is that it’s the non-ados people of color who have been historically tribal, divisive and willing to bargain/cow-tow to the white supremacists in the US and worldwide for a come up. Yvette sees her/our redress(i.e. negotiation with white supremacists in America) as a constitutive part of our lineage-based justice claim in lieu of seeking ‘mythical formations’ outside of the US. It’s why the Pan-Africanists are upset. She, Tariq and Co. have a point about our supposed non-white allies being complicit, weak, or virtually nonexistent. How we get reparations if we supposedly have no friends or allies; I don't know, but I can't make the claim black Americans have a place to go or a group of people willing to back us in any meaningful way.

I think if they made those points without using lies, distortions, misleading comments about international Blacks ,it might have been an easier sell. and might as well remove tariq from the list, he's uneducated (formally or self-learned) is an opportunist and only embarrasses himself when serious topics come up.
