Lonzo gives us the playmaking we need, let's Rose go off in bursts without being relied on for heavy minutes, let's Quickley operate off ball and not as the primary where he's more effective and allows Frank to just worry about defense on the court in spot minutes.

Lonzo would be perfect with this roster, especially if we can get a scoring wing in the draft. We couldn't get LaMelo so I hope we do whatever we can to get Lonzo.

i like Lonzo but i still don’t think he’s what you guys want him to be. His ideal role is Frank with much better offense. He’s not really a guy who’s going to run your offense. (Although he will push the rock in transition) He’s a guy you want to play off of Randle and RJ. If he didn’t love that role in NO because of BI and Zion, what’s gonna be different here with RJ and Julius?

yeah I don’t think lonzo is the guy for us either. He wants the ball in his hands

I’d love Brogdon on the team, he can shoot well, plays defense, high IQ and has a simple clean game :ehh:

To clarify, I’d take Lonzo. He’s going to help this team. I just don’t know about that contract he wants this summer.

I feel like I'm dreaming.

Like... This type of shyt right here is what you want to hear.

To have a situation like this is truly a significant transition away from the circus that we've grown accustomed to.

Plus even if the Knicks are bullshytting this gives us some leverage as opposed to our usual thirsty selves

We got him from Cleveland.....

It's really fukking annoying that this is a topic. Finally out together a competent front office and outsiders are looking to strip it apart. I really hope these guys don't fall into that shyt.
we got him from clevland as a cap specialist..not as a gm

Fair point about his fit with RJ/Julius vs. Zion/BI, but I'm also a bit more convinced of Thibs' ability to get him to buy into that role.

Add his defense and he fits that mold for Thibs.

That's the biggest thing to me. We're not out here diminishing player value, making them look like a$$holes on the way out. Even with Frank, the talk has consistently been positive around him, like he's being kept out as a secret weapon as opposed to not playing well. With guys like Knox and DSJ, it's obvious something is/was off but they're not going out of their way to make it worse.

Very big difference that I appreciate with this front office.
