Yeah
The Shining was adopted from a classic Steven King novel and took some creative liscences to make it into its own thing entirely. It was so different that Steven King said he hated the adaptation. Critics followed along and shytted on it too, not really seeing what made it anything other than an incoherent run of the mill ghost story. But through the years people have rewatched it and noticed the shytload of details, symbolism, and imagery Kurbrick put into the film and it has since become adored.

Grace is saying Batman V Superman is for comic book movies what The Shining was to horror films, and in the years to come people will grow to appreciate it.

The newest Fantastic Four had terrible hype before the reviews came out. It got terrible reviews. Right now its a 27 on Metacritic and a 9 on RT. I watched it and was shocked. Its not even close to being that bad. For me that makes no sense. Its not bad, its not good.

Fantastic 4 is an uneventful bore with horrible pacing, characters, characterization & motivations

Nolan batman series bodies anything marvel made. Sorry breh breh.

Disagree breh.

TDK was a masterpiece, the 1st and 3rd entries in the series, not so much. I'd put Cap 2, Avengers and GotG over both of them and on par with TDK as far as enjoyment.

But what is important is that TDK is not relevant to the current DCCU, you are never gonna get a DC movie of that quality again, unfortunately. Its not a good look to actively know its ALL downhill from here. We cannot say the same for Marvel and its future movies.

The majority of comic book movies are bad to average. BvS was just ok, people need to deal with that :manny:

And thats where the conspiracy theories fall apart. Nolans films are better than every comic movie, were dark(er), and DC properties. So all of a sudden the critics have conspired against DC? Critics and the general audience only want "fun"? No, they just conspired against poorly made, uninteresting films.

:heh: anti-DC agenda!?

You see how far this bytchmade society will go to simply not say "I was wrong about something"?

DC media fans been shytting on Marvel for the last 35 years.

"All yall got is Spiderman and his Amazing Friends! :umad:"

Honestly if DC fans would shut the fukk up and enjoy shyt, none of this "FanWar" bullshyt would even be going on.
