Everything you just said is complete opposite of how everyone felt about that album. Actually this is one of the "back packer" albums that IN FACT, didn't feel forced and was executed flawlessly

it wasn't infamous.
not even close to "hell on earth"

and theres was a new generation of stars & styles that pushed them to the side.

im not saying they were washed. just saying it should come as no shock that theyre not in my top 10.

they werent done, they just got bumped down a few pegs, and if you weren't a big diehard fan of theres, then yea you were off of that.

its not rocket science. just natural rap progression that doesn't exist anymore.

Fell out of the top tier to who? The album was anticipated and it was to the point where mad nikkas had the bootleg before it dropped. None of this has to do with a Top 10 list. A lot of people have it in their Top 10 of 1999. The people that don't has nothing to do with what you're spewing here.

Sure, there were some newcomers, but nobody was exactly in their lane doing what they were doing better. They didn't go platinum solely because of the "Quiet Storm" remix with Lil' Kim. They didn't sell 1 million copies to die hard fans. They attracted new listeners with that album.

And unless you're going to apply the "sales boom" argument to everyone else, that whole argument is irrelevant.
