with this BS. The Lox was nowhere near them in 1999. This is the type of revisionist history and narrative pushing that has to stop. You can't even name a song by The Lox that was poppin in 1999 and are in here dissing the one song they remotely had in 1999 that was if significance. Exactly what put The Lox up there with X, Jay, and Nas in 1999? X was the reason Ruff Ryders blew up in the first place. Behind him, Eve was the biggest artist on RR. And if you're using the whole "they were killing features" schtick, Eve had bigger guest spots and was more sought after than The Lox.

To add to the discussion, Hate me now in 99 was a life-saver for Nas, then he came out with Owe me with Ginuwine (which got him radio play)

99, Dude was on WCW and he had some shyt going on with Mya, plus he had It aint my fault 2, it wasn't big as part 1, but he still had folks going out and copping his album when it dropped.
How big was Jay and Nas in 99?? I'd go on to say that they weren't really as big as DMX combined together that year or the 98-99 years. Help me out @JustCKing
