i don't do pushups that often, when i do, i do them in sets of 25. i guess i'd max out somewhere 35-40ish?

pullup max

bw- 12
bw+25- 8
bw+45- 6

:yes: he squatted 405 for 10 reps :noah: that would put his max at damn near 600. That's amazing at any weight, but at his weight it's spectacular and damn near unheard of.

care to explain this more? is it only for pull-ups or everything bodyweight? what about lifting weights (which include weighted pullups/dips)?

lifting slow is horrible if you care about power/strength (i.e. dynamic effort, westside conjugate method, classical lifts)

I could have sworn the rule of thumb was heavy weight and slow motion was best way to build strength and muscle (get bigger)

:childplease: @ some of those pull up numbers unless they are kippin or 1/6th reps

Full range of motion dead hang I can do about 10-12. Push ups 50+ I rarely do them and think its useless going that high.

i saw that squat video and he was doing like half squats to be fair:ehh: i don't think he'd do multiple and maybe not even one rep ass to grass squat w/ 405 :yeshrug:

he still scrawng tho....

i remember when i was a teenager doing like 70+pushups or what the hell ever and i swore i was strong, but i had never lifted weights so if i had tried to bench 200lbs i would have crushed my chest :bryan:

your body adapts to what you are doing and will regress somewhat if you stop doing something too

Because someone that does a great amount of pushups, logically will also do pull-ups as well.

unlike some ppl i actually root for ppl or am inspired by others ppl excellence.

i'm also not a dumbass tho, and can clearly see someone doing 1/2 squats like anybody w/ sense of what a parallel squat looks like :birdman:

so you think he has the lower body strength of olympic weightlifters and nfl players huh w/o having the amount of muscle mass for his height that all of those guys carry?
