But seriously, Im very southern and very traditional as is he so this works for us. I do 90% of the cleaning (except trash), 75% parenting (he travels for work) and 100% inside cooking (he grills), this man never sees the kitchen lol.

He pays all expenses and gets the laundry done so I dont have to do it. We eat out a lot too but I actually love cooking so I wouldnt care either way.

I got a 2nd interview Friday and should here back tomorrow about another interview. If either happen, Im going back to work. Our daughter's almost 3 now so its about time.

Honestly, if I'm in a relationship my woman, it wouldnt feel right to have her paying rent and utilities. As a man, it just doesnt feel right. However, she would be buying all the things needed for the house, including groceries. Furthermore, she would be cooking and cleaning.

A question for the folks in this thread though: what if you and your significant other was splitting the rent, and then this person lost their job? What would you do?

With housework and that shyt tanked SO hard It got to the point that I felt like he was sabotaging shyt just to get me mad enough to do it all myself But yeah lol good luck on the interview!!

Lol. I was joking. Like I said we're a certain type that grew up like this so it works. We also knew each other almost 20 yrs prior to hitching so theres a level of respect there. Plus I earned more when we met. I have a Masters too which helps. We both know I can earn when ready.

I still don't know wtf this means. She buys shyt like ornaments for the house? It's an archaic way of thinking that a woman with a job doesn't pay half. It's a team effort. No guy should think his girl should cook and clean and work. You both do that shyt together. You help and build each other up. My sister and her husband did this and they been married for over 20 years.

That's a good question.

Help her look for another job but if I was paying it all before she moved it then it wouldn't be TOO much of a burden financially. She would have to be looking for a job and get one within like 3 months or she'd have to go.
