Y'all nikkas must be fat. I eat for healthy sustenance most days, punctuated with restaurant food or fast food.

I would do the same if I was cohabitating. Microwave food tastes just as good as most bytches can cook (if done right), so I'm not all that impressed by cooking.

Maybe it's the "being served" part you guys are clamoring for? The rest of it is overrated, especially if you can afford to eat out now and then.

Plus there are only so many hours in the day, so I could never understand taking an hour to cook something that will take 10 minutes to eat, and then half an hour for clean-up ... so cooking wouldn't be high on my list of priorities when choosing a "wife".

I'd far rather have the bytch who exercises with me than one who will cook for me on the regular. Since I prefer relatively healthy meals generally, we can cook (microwave) for each other, matter of fact.

Not to go too off-topic, but here's a microwave recipe of mine. Try it and tell me it's not the bomb.

Tyson pulled chicken breast + honey roasted peanuts + birdseye chicken flavored rice (which is a little salty) + vegetables with rice (which is unseasoned, so it mitigates the saltiness of the chicken-flavored rice).

All the ingredients are precooked, so all you need is a microwave. Dump enough in a bowl for your meal and microwave for about 2 minutes. Stir, then another 2 minutes.

That shyt is delicious, especially when you're hungry. :wow:Takes 5 minutes to prepare.

Beats that high-fat, high salt, greasy shyt you guys are eating every day, giving you high blood pressure and high cholesterol and diabetes running rampant in the community, with no time left over for exercise or your side hustle.
:troll:

All these words for nothing...

You gotta eat, so you gotta cook/prepare food - no matter what it is you prepare to put in your mouth!

So for somebody to say something like "cooking is overrated" is dumb.

This is white guy shyt. The hatred towards men part ain't coming from black women (And one or two LSA post or tweets don't change that)

I think it depends on where you live breh. If you live in Detroit, DC, or Atlanta maybe not. If you live in Cali :francis:

News flash: Most of you grandma's wasn't shyt & most of your mommas weren't either.

Women haven't changed. Society has. I wish we would stop glorifying the generation before before cause both men and women have mostly never been up to standard. People just didn't talk about it. Or stayed together for financial reasoning.

How you granddaddy had a wife and a whole family across town but this generation take the cake?
How you and your brother/sister got different daddies but these women today just invented slinging p*ssy?

I bet if some of ya'll went back to your home town and ask the ole head about your grandma back in the day they probably have a story :sas2:

Generational traumas/curses in the age of social media
This sounds like a deflection, my grandmother was married till death and my Papa didn't have a secret fam. My mom also was a loyal married woman. Anyway, how can society change without the morals and values of people changing? :mjlol::mjlol:

Idiot, I'm talking about requiring a woman to be ready to cook for you. It's overrated. Of all the things to complain about, women not wanting to cook for you should be the least of your worries.

Learn to read. I know more than a sentence is a challenge for you, but hang in there...

When having a conversation about a bigger issue how does relating it only to your story make it valid or invalid? Do your friends have the same story? Do you have any non relative elder who share that story?

Im trying to get to point to understand why do people project this greater than thou image on the past?

Moral & values / modern technology?

I'm an old breh but I think the younger generation just has more options period. If you decent looking, making good income, and handle your business, you ain't lookin to settle down, unless that female can bring something to the table. If you a A1 man, then the only serious options you should even consider getting serious with would be A1 females. And w/technology it's easier than ever to meet all sorts of people. No longer limited geographically, you can meet and know people all over the world.

These dummies doin dumb shyt over a female, fighting/getting locked up over a woman is laughable. 3 billion women in this world and you wanna be stupid over 1?:mjlol:

Please don't be a sassy man and act like the generation of elders before didn't do the stuff i mentioned.

I don't recall saying they didn't...

Like someone just said before we cant never have a genuine conversation about this.

We can...but do you want to?
Or do you just wanna be "sassy" and then act like things are the way they always have been, even though the heart of this topic is everybody saying things aren't they way they used to be?

What's the code? Hide your dirt until it manifest into your offspring?

My boss said that she believes marriage is for poor woman more than anyone else these days. When we asked her to clarify she said that she doesn’t believe marriage can really work(in general) unless there is a level of dependency. For instance A poor woman that is not capable of taking care of herself, is more likely to stay married to her man even when unhappy, because she depends on him. In other words she believes that in order for marriage to last or be necessary there has to be a level of dependency between both parties that will keep them “stuck” together. Once that dependency gets removed(which she believes started to happen when women were able to take care of themselves financially, a couple of decades ago) it won’t work. She doesn’t think “love” works as a reason or incentive for marriage. It’s too fleeting, and she admits this is especially the case for women.

She’s married btw, and both her and her husband make good money. She said her wake up call for staying with her husband was when he had to travel and work out of state for a few months, and she was forced to be a single mom of their kids. She realized that she just couldn’t live that type of life(as a single mom) hence she found the anchors that keep her with her husband for now. It’s interesting perspective. I believe she sees marriage as a business arrangement.

Not necessarily. Just ask all the people with high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol in the community who think exactly like you.

But I'll leave you to your hawg mawgs.

:yeshrug:

I'll take the girl who exercises over the one who cooks any day.
