But I’m surprised that y’all didn’t catch on with all the black man negative generalizations that she does. I never trust a person who was reduced to marrying someone from outside their own race in a position to comment on people of their own race. They failed at addressing their own interpersonal race relationship dynamics- how are they advising others.

That actually sounds emotionally extreme. I’m not trying to be disrespectful or come at you crazy to use against you, so don’t take it negatively -but don’t you have an unstable relationship with your dad? There has to be some type of middle ground between high expectations and low bars. I don’t want my kids to just “pass” in life or get away with doing minimum but most people don’t graduate with honors and still position themselves well in life. I’m not disowning my kid because they didn’t graduate with a 4.5 gpa but I’m also not berating them for having a 3.5. I don’t want to crush their spirit to strive.
