I’m not trying to be disrespectful or come at you crazy to use against you, so don’t take it negatively -but don’t you have an unstable relationship with your dad? There has to be some type of middle ground between high expectations and low bars. I don’t want my kids to just “pass” in life or get away with doing minimum but most people don’t graduate with honors and still position themselves well in life. I’m not disowning my kid because they didn’t graduate with a 4.5 gpa but I’m also not berating them for having a 3.5. I don’t want to crush their spirit to strive.
