She couldn't keep the average athletic man from backing her down into the rim for layup after layup.
First time she misses is the last time she touches the ball.
The average vertical jump in the WNBA is
14-19". That's the athleticism right now giving Caitlin trouble.
That 5'10 cat who can barely touch rim is far more explosive than basically every female in that league. That's about a 31" vertical. That 5'10 cat who can dunk is exponentially more explosive than any WNBA player. If you can stay in front of someone like that, she should be
easy to contain. It don't matter if she can shoot, you can basically stay in her pocket if you have somewhat decent feet for a man.
How many 5'10 men who you know who can barely touch net? That's the explosiveness these women play against and why they nearly have zero chance to recover once they get beat.
If you play ball, and are a ~6'0"+ in-shape male no way you have trouble with her once you get the ball. How you going to play ball, have 2" and 30 lbs. on her, a 30+" vertical but let her get the ball back? Keep in mind she's probably not even a legit 6'.
Just play the "man's game" and get your points.
If you used to playing on the "good", big boy court at the parks with decent competition (like from the local high schools at a big city), you should have no problem with her if you're at least 5'10. The gyms/parks I played at in LA, Long Beach and OC were packed with D2-D3 and decent Junior College players. I'm positive she'd get ran off the court even in Orange County gyms.
Most moderately athletic men who play basketball a few times per week could hold their own vs her, but would get annihilated by Mugsy Bogues because Mugsy actually is used to making fools of grown men on the court.
Now I know the cats on here who can't ball on that court
